| So why are they called "Zoomies"? |
| One of our beagles' favorite games is called "Tag-You're-It-I'm-Gone-ZOOM !" During a "Zoomie", all three beagles will run at full speed around any and all obstacles. A typical "Zoomie" runs something like this: Around the fence-line, circle the willow, across the yard, around the maple, under the deck, up the stairs, in the door, through the dining room, down the hall, under the bed, over the bed, stop and wrestle on the bed, back down the hall, through the kitchen, into the living room, down the hall, into the office, around the chair legs, back down the hall, up on the couch, stop and wrestle on the couch, jump to the love seat, over the back of the love seat with a flying leap into the middle of the kitchen, back out the door and around the yard to start all over again... All running at full speed...ZOOOOOOOM! |
